There are many people out there that work with horses for a living. They all have opinions on how a horse should perform. I think it is vital to clearly understand every individual horse because they are all unique. Helping them get to their true potential is a long road with many turns and, at some points, great obstacles. I feel it is important to start from the beginning and help them fill in the blanks, if you will, in their abilities; whether it is a going Grand Prix horse or a promising 3 year old. Every horse and rider with the right positive reinforcement can become a star with the correct methods at their fingertips. It’s my job to find what methods they need to succeed. I feel it’s vital to have every horse and rider moving in a flawless equilibrium, every step achieving real balance, before I face them with intriguing challenges. That is where my history comes into play.

My Father, International Dressage rider/Judge, and Mother, Grand Prix Show Jumper/3-day Event rider, have given me the perfect harmony between achieving the complexities and grace of dressage as well as the power and precision of a real show jumper. Utilizing methods from both disciplines creates an ideal environment for a true performance team. Creating this symbiotic team always is my goal whether it is me and a horse or you on your horse.
