Nestled on 20 acres amid the avocado and lemon grove covered hills of Somis, CA, Spirit Equestrian is a Premier Southern California competitive training and boarding facility featuring top-notch hunter/jumper and dressage trainers.

Spirit Equestrian features 3 full-sized dressage courts, a 200x300 jump arena, a 150x200 jump arena, a covered round pen, a European Hot Walker, and lighted arenas for evening riding.  Our arenas feature truly world-class footing, and are dragged and watered daily.  Horses are fed top-quality hay 3x per day and stalls and automatic waterers are cleaned and checked daily.  Turnout is available in large paddocks and grass pastures.  There are a wide variety of stabling options available at Spirit, from the ever popular half or full-covered 24’x24’ mare motels to box stalls featuring stable comfort mattress systems, your horse is sure to love life here at Spirit: Where Horses Come First.  

Spirit Equestrian is also home to one of only 4 Dressage Riding Simulators in the US, and the first in California.  "Luke" can help you hone your riding skills and provide feedback without the added difficulty of a live horse.
